Gary D. Webb, M.D. is an adult trained ACHD cardiologist. He is the editor-in-chief of the CHIP Network, his major professional interest and commitment. A graduate of McGill University in Montréal, he interned at the Royal Victoria Hospital, and then trained in internal medicine and cardiology at the University of Toronto. From 1980-2004, he was codirector and then director of the Toronto Congenital Cardiac Center for Adults at Toronto General Hospital. He is a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada in both internal medicine and cardiology. From 2004-2009, he was director of the Philadelphia Adult Congenital Heart Center at the University of Pennsylvania. From 2009-2016, he was the Director of the Adult Congenital Heart Program at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Heart Institute. While at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital, he developed the ACHD Learning Center and the Cardiology Fellow Testing Center, both of which are now part of Heart University. Since 2017, he has resumed a consultant role at the Toronto Congenital Cardiac Centre for Adults.
