Dr. Soha Romeih, MD, PhD, FESC, FSCMR is a consultant adult congenital cardiologist and a director of advanced cardiovascular imaging unit who works at Aswan Heart Center, Aswan, Egypt. In 2015 she moved back to Egypt after getting her PhD degree from University of Amsterdam, the Netherlands. The project was entitled “Assessment of cardiac function and hemodynamics in children and adults with right ventricular pressure overload: Role of cardiac magnetic resonance imaging”. She has established a structured unit for GUCH in Aswan. She is a certified CMR trainer according to the European Society of Cardiology since 2014, Fellow of European Society of cardiology since 2016 and fellow of Society of cardiac magnetic resonance since 2018
Dr. Romeih published more than 20 articles in well-known peer reviewed journals in the fields of CMR, and congenital heart disease. Currently her main focus of research is 4D CMR flow mapping especially in adults with congenital heart disease.
