Charlotte Van Dorn

Charlotte Van Dorn, MD is an Assistant Professor of Pediatrics and Associate Medical Director of the Pediatric Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit at the Mayo Clinic, Rochester. She obtained her medical degree from the University of Iowa Carver College of Medicine in 2008 then completed pediatric residency at Mayo Clinic, Rochester in 2011. She completed both her pediatric cardiology and pediatric critical care fellowships at the University of Utah in Salt Lake City, UT in 2016. Her clinical and research interests include noninvasive measures of cardiac output and compensatory reserve in pediatric patients, early post-operative outcomes in children and adult congenital patients undergoing cardiac surgery, as well as mechanical circulatory support in congenital heart disease.
